Good pay, but very long hours

Pros

Good pay, ok benefits, career opportunities, of you're willing to relocate.

Cons

Archaic programs. Every module needed is a different program and nothing ever seems to work together. Changes all the time, like 6 times a year, there is another major change, se times backtracking. Makes for a very frustrating experience, with no way to build up proficiency, since things are always changing, sorting es for no discernible reason. You will work long hours, and will be considered a slacker if you work less than 10 a day in the office (salaried). No flexibility whatsoever! You will be expected to work weekends from home. You will feel unethical due to all the constant price increases, usually to small business, as large businesses all have caps.

Pros

My manager supports personal development and work-life balance. The people I work with are fantastic. I have had many good experiences and opportunities, and my salary is very competitive.

Cons

This past year has been a nightmare. The new CEO fired hundreds of managers who had been there. Perhaps he saw tenure as the inability to change. The new CEO is also bringing in a bunch of people from Pepsi where he used to work. Although I agree with a "fresh eyes" approach for changing culture, I believe the new CEO and his team are short-sighted. You can't have people who don't understand the current culture and the complexity of the business making major decisions about the future of the company. I think their approach is all wrong.

Pros

Tons of nice people working there. Salary was ok. Benefits were good.

Cons

Too many VPs with conflicting agendas. Can't figure out a solid sales / account management strategy. Sales commission targets were unlikely to ever be met due to lack of clarity around accout owners. Lots of turnover.
