Pros

I can't think of many good reasons to work at ARAMARK.

Cons

Working at ARAMARK was a horrible experience. Not enough employee support for management and heavy workload. Hourly employees are disrespected, treated very badly, and the pay is just above minimum wage yet, ARAMARK continues to receive awards year after year for being one of the most ethical companies in the nation. While this may be the case at corporate headquarters in Philadelphia, it is not the case in the field. The field has some of the highest turnover (45%) because the employees work very hard but are disillusioned because of the way they are treated.

Pros

Teamsters Union to protect you from horrible management staff.

Cons

Management treats you like crap. Its a complete union vs non union struggle. Management yells and screams to try to bully employees.

Pros

Freedom to set your on schedule. Gas Card, Car Allowance, Saturday and Sundays off.

Cons

It is sad that the company has zero ethics. They keep raising customers prices 5 to 7 times a year. Poor product, poor quality. I want not sale Aramark to any of my friends, because of poor product, quality of service and extremely high price increases. Example one customer has 6 men in uniform 2 floor mats and 200 shop towels. His weekly bill is $300 a week. This is wrong.
