Pros

Pay Not in an office all day Meet great people

Cons

It could take all day to write this section, but... Constant price increases (4 to 5 a year per customer) to make up for loss business due to the price increases. I'm losing business faster then I can find new. Production is always behind stuff comes in 1 to 3 days late or never shows up. Have 4 "they call them contests", but are mandatory sales requirements going on at the same time. When your not getting new business to sell to you keep throwing the same promotions at the customers and they get sick of hearing about it. There motto is to do what the other similar companies do. Aramark are followers not business leaders. I use to love this job till it became more about corporate bonuses then it's employees and customers.

Pros

You will learn a lot about the industry. The position is hourly and there is always something to do, even if it's something someone else doesn't want to do that will give you at least 10 hours of overtime each week. May have to travel and see different parts of the country you have never seen before with all expenses on the company.

Cons

Training. You won't be trained to be a DM which the position is supposed to train you for. You have to catch on or find someone willing to help you out, which is ridiculous. A lot of politics happens within the company, promotion not based on merit or what's earned but how leadership wants to play the games with is totally ridiculous. Turnover is very high which means you will be running routes and doing what you shouldn't be doing to help a District run ''efficient''.

Pros

The only things are that you work 5 days a week and have insurance. The pay is ok but you really have to cheat the customers to make real good money

Cons

They demand very unethical methods of doing business with the customers and they require very long hours at times. Everything now a days is strictly about the numbers and quotas for the very short term with no concern for building long term relationships with the customers. I've worked there for well over 15 years and the company is definitely going down hill and in a hurry. Plus they give the customers 5-7 price increases a year.
