Pros

Decent Pay. This is about the only thing good I can say about this company.

Cons

You have no life other than Aramark. On the service side you should expect to work 65+ hours per week.

Pros

Opportunity to grow if you're willing to play the political game and be ok with DMs having their little kingdoms. Stand up for what's right and prepare to be ostracized and shut out. If you feel like just doing what you're doing, you can sit stagnant for an entire career.

Cons

Absolutely no work life balance. Prepare to bring your phone and laptop with you on vacation. People rolling out new initiatives (largely computer based) barely understand them, let alone are able to teach and troubleshoot.

Pros

They are a well known company and have many branches where one can increase their abilities while still being able to work for the same company. They do have good benefits for their full-time employees.

Cons

Many of the decisions from upper management does not make sense because many of those people have never actually worked in food service as the worker and not as in management. To have the experience to back their reasoning for many things. I have worked for 6 years with the company in business dining. I have completed my Bachelor's degree; I have been trying to get a job in the corporate office and have not even hear back. I was full time for 5 years and recently was cut back to part-time, pay per hour decreased, job changed, and lost benefits and some vacation/sick time. But wasn't able to get a job at another location to increase hours, they wouldn't consider me for location manager even with my manager's recommendation.
