Pros

Aramark is a very large company with many potential opportunities. They have a comprehensive infrastructure for training and corporate initiatives.

Cons

The company pay is generally low; The company is a bit top heavy and at times arogant and very much removed from front line staff and their concerns and issues. Work life balance is not on the radar screen for some of the VP level towards others.

Pros

While I have only been employed by Aramark for a month, I have found that they show a relatively decent commitment to employee development. Their benefits package for hourly employees is reasonably priced, fairly comprehensive, and active far sooner than with many employers. The free lunches are also a nice perk.

Cons

I find the hourly pay leaves something to be desired. For my job function, the salary that I receive is at the lowest end of the bell curve.
