Pros

ARAMARK's multiple lines of business allow ambitious employees to move internally, often laterally, into a variety of environments.

Cons

People are often promoted into management because they have a long tenure with the organization. Educated, insightful leaders are rare.

Pros

Stable company that has a good track record of performance. Job security for doing a relatively good job is plus. There are opportunities to showcase your skills. Employees are friendly and curtious, not many instences of difficult situations.

Cons

Compensation is lagging with new hires and underqualified employees receiving higher salaries. Being in a position to see new hires, the salaries are 10% higher than current employees. Current employees carry the burden of more work for the same compensation as cost savings (under staffed dept.) initiative go into effect.
