Pros

I worked at the university of Delaware, I enjoyed my job until Covid changed management, The job was pretty easy, you followed the structure that was your job and nothing more, it was a unionized job and I made $16 plus an hour.

Cons

When new management took over I gave birth to my son, I put in for a transfer, they refused to give it to me due to my lactation needs, however, there was a space in my job in which I could lactate, when I was pregnant (high risk) there was a manager who often interrupted my medically necessary breaks because they didn't understand my job or what it entailed.

Pros

Independence in my role, which allows me to manage my own tasks and time. Positive relationship with the client I support, which makes my daily work more enjoyable. Ability to provide excellent customer service, leading to a strong sense of accomplishment independent of management. Work from home Leadership will course correct when the bottom line is affected

Cons

Very little effort to boost morale or recognize hard work. The job role is often underestimated, and employees aren’t set up for success with proper training. Training is led by people who don’t use the systems we work with, making it less effective. No incentives or rewards for performance. On-call duties are required, and everyone is salary No positive team-building activities, leading to a strong "us vs. them" mentality between teams. Lack of cohesion or collaboration among different teams.
