Aramark reviews

Aramark likes to present themselves as a company for self starters and people who can take initiative as a cover for their lack of communication. I nearly missed out on my benefits first year because my manager 'fast tracked' my orientation. Anytime I had a concern for aramark I was given a vague answer or nothing at all. There was no room for growth in my position either. Consistently overworked and underpaid. While my peers made 3+ on the hour than me, i was working overtime to prove my worth. Then when I asked for a raise I was met with a write up. After 2.5 years of constantly working to cover areas that I wasn't even directly over. Upon leaving I was told the vacation time I had earned would not be paid out due to a policy that changed in summer of 2023. I was not informed of that upon leaving. In addition, the company I was contracted at reached out much sooner than aramark in regards to why I left and overall cared more. It took aramark over 2 weeks to reach out while I heard from the company i was contracted through the next day. I will never work for this company again and I am grateful for the new place I was hired at.

HR: The HR Director during the opening of one of our townhall meetings said, "I need you all to make me look good on our next quarterly survey." She then proceeded to make rules and call on us to obey them, even though they contradicted what our General Manager had told us. Upper Management: Incredibly narcissistic. They don't want to hear any new ideas unless it's their own. Middle Management: They come and go as they please and then wonder why attendance is so sporadic.
