Pros

You get a pay check. Nice director.

Cons

The company I work for contracted out Aramark. Our pay was cut .50 an hour. Insurance through Aramark is worse coverage & costs us at least $150 more a month (depending on the plan). New employees make a higher starting salary than the old employees, & when you ask to get bumped up to at least the same amount as the new hires, you are told "no" even when your review is perfect. Makes one feel that they aren't worth the starting salary the new hires without experience make. Management talks & talks about what they are going to do & rarely, if ever, they follow through. Management loves an uneducated fanny kisser who causes trouble over an educated effective worker. Aramark has standards in writing to cover themselves but in reality, they don't even respect themselves. Some people get away with every & anything, while other employees can't. They tell you to be safe & not rush, make you sign a paper saying you won't rush, but turn around & leave you so short staffed you have to rush. Con artists in management love to hear themselves talk. Aramark has it set up so that when the guy cons his way through everything, can leave for a different management position before upper corporate catches on. The cycle goes on & on.
