- dedicated, knowledgeable peers - work from home - interesting product with a noble goal - great work/life balance

Cons

- Company does not promote from within - Wages are slightly below market - Full of sales/marketing and middle management allowed to dictate all aspects of product, and timeline. leads to overpromise and under deliver culture - Massive technical debt from years of putting off critical platform needs

I very much enjoy building an extensible software platform but the best part of Aravo is working with my wonderful colleagues. Our engineering team is a smart, empowered, mindful and lively group that makes coming to work a pleasure each day.

Pros

The culture at Aravo is the best part of this job. Everyone at this company is focused on a positive work experience creating a solution that benefits our clients. The employees are helpful and patient while you are learning; they are eager to share their experiences and help you steer clear of any pitfalls of the decisions you make while configuring a solution for your clients. Management is wonderfully approachable and there is a pathway for growth; in less than a year, I have already been offered opportunities for advancement in both position and responsibility. The culture truly reflects the company core values and it emanates from the CEO and is pervasive throughout the whole population.
