Coming home to Arcadis

Since re-joining Arcadis after a 6-year hiatus at a client organisation the company has changed drastically. I've enjoyed re-joining a business with such strength in depth and a hugely dedicated and motivate personnel. The 80Fen Office is stunning and a great place to work from and host clients in. Arcadis promotes wellbeing of employees and actively manages through dedicated programmes.

Cons

The onboarding process could have been better due to numerous hiccups with IT, HR and Payroll all of whom seem unable to effectively communicate and work together. Having navigated these issues over the first 2 months, all is now settled. Away from the onboarding process but still on IT, I was very surprised by the basic IT kit / laptops issued to employees. I previously worked in a quasi-public sector organisation which you'd expect not to have the best IT kit, however it was much better than that issued by Arcadis.

with the right line management, there are many opportunities to maximise your skills and experience and be rewarded for it.

Cons

the company needs to do more to raise standards of all line managers. not all managers meet the arcadis values
