Pros

Good job opportunities for all employees. They make it easy to change jobs and get promoted within the company. It's easy to network.

Cons

The company expects you to work a lot of hours and does not have the best work life balance. It's hard to get time off.

Pros

Laid back atmosphere. Co-workers are friendly and helpful.

Cons

Have a problem with being understaffed in both production and management. Everyone is spread to thin. Trying to do to many jobs instead of being able to focus on their main task.

Pros

Excellent pay and benefits offered.

Cons

Everything else! No sick time, so if you're sick you must use up your vacation time. If you're sick or have children who are sick, and you use all your vacation time (2wks) you can use up to 5 no pay occurrence days. Get 6, you'll get a final write up, get 7 and buh-bye! They're quick to fire, don't care about you or your family. But hey, if your a never-gets-sick, got-no-family or friends, hobbiless person who's only will to work kind of person. This job has everything you're looking for! Need FMLA? GREAT! Just call a third party company, wait a week for a stack of papers, get your doctor to fill them out perfectly (usually for a fee), get them sent in within a week of receiving them, then call relentlessly for the next 2 weeks to see if you were even approved. God help you if you weren't. If you did get approved, keep your own meticulous log of your hours because the 3rd party company won't be trustworthy enough and might get you fired if you accidentally go over your hours. Good ol boys club holds firm. Lots of useless monkeys as supervisors/NES/management. Bullying only gets dealt with if the victim of part of the club. I experienced a level 2 picking on almost everyone in my department, made several people cry and generally made work so unbearable many of us had to go on anti psychotics to be able to function at work. We begged to be moved either to a different department or another shift but our pleas were poo-pooed until another club member had a run in and the level 2 was finally dealt with and fired. And finally, the hours you'll be working aren't just your normal scheduled hours. Oh no, the overtime can sometime be 21 days straight, a single day off and back to 21 .
