Pros

Arconic is a great place to work because it offers competitive salaries in a growing high demand market. Arconic is also pushing Inclusion and Diversity initiatives to help minorities reach new heights in their careers.

Cons

The downside to working with Arconic is work life balance. Be prepared to spend a lot of hours working long shifts to keep the assets operating 24/7/365.

Pros

Great benefits, good pay. Good people to work with, most will take time to help out new employees

Cons

They don't care about the employees or their family life. No upper management support, not a lot of organization in planned work.

Pros

Top notch 401(k) match to 6% plus extra 3% paid by the company The past few quarterly bonuses have been extremely substantial for everyone Hard to beat the hourly wages plus their raises each year are consistently about 3% Salary employees get 3 weeks vacation starting out now Salary and non-bargained hourly are getting paid parental leave starting in March Arconic is growing and making massive investment in the future.

Cons

In the past, especially during the Arconic/Howmet split and around onset of Covid it was very stressful for salary people due to pay cuts and lay-offs. It doesn't seem that the company is keeping up with base pay for what other companies are offering experienced employees. Degreed folks with 1-3 years of service may realize they are being paid very closely (sometimes less) than someone straight from college.
