      Poor pay, poor lifestyle, frustrating work

      - overall nice coworkers - QA team utilized for testing

      Cons

      - below market average pay - below average benefits, I.e. health, 401k - below average PTO - 5 days a week in office Work: Proprietary systems with close to non-existent tooling. Work is typically incredibly tedious, like pulling teeth. Developers will waste time working around the lack of tooling, for example, reading logs for hours. Obsolete technologies are the norm. However, you will gain useful experience in specifically SQL. Outside of that, expect to gain no useful technical expertise.

      Pros

      Our team managers were incredibly kind people and our team worked well together. The HR team was very helpful with anything you needed to learn about.

      Cons

      Hard to advance here. I did not align with the CEO and the way he treated the people under him, he was often harsh and had incredibly high expectations that would make people scramble. There is often not a lot to work on depending on the time of year. We depended on work depending on what other teams gave us and they were often poor communicators. Also no wfh options.
