Pros

Beautiful store beautiful quality furniture pretty flexible schedule

Cons

Commitment statement was very misleading nearly impossible to see a commission monthly when store managers are favoring an employee and allowing her to bully her way onto other sales associates orders with zero consequences. Management is unreliable unprofessional unapproachable unavailable and unable to find most times Top writer has become a monster will management to be held responsible for. She does not play by the same rules as other and if you say something you’ll find yourself seeking new employment

Pros

Beautiful store, but that is it.

Cons

The amount of Texas Workforce Comission jobs being broken here is hard to believe. The disrespect toward the salespeople is ridiculous, and the top salesperson gets whatever they want. Management favors the top sellers and even hands them sales. You are forced to cold call customers even if they specified they do not want to be called. Part time employees are asked to work off the clock, which is illegal. They are constantly lying to customers about when a sale ends etc, just to get in the sale. The pay base is laughable and the commission structure is tiered horribly.

Pros

Beautiful furniture you most likely won't be able to afford on your salary no matter how good of a sales person you think you are.

Cons

Everything else. Costumers are only treated well before they open their wallets, employees are miserable and act like they're serving a jail sentence while staring at their watch. They pray for a snow day, the flu or any reason the store could close. First day I was told how horrible the company was by employees that have been there 6 months or less. I thought to give it a try and perhaps it would be better for me... but then the phone rang and no one seemed to hear it...actually it rings off the hook with complaining customers... situations such as -1) they never got their furniture, 2) got their furniture but it was damaged for the third time, 3) spent 40k + on furniture and never received the incentive they were promised from the sales person who most likely has already quit and no one followed up with that customer to see how their experience was etc. With the turnover this place has, that is non stop phone ringing with complaints or customers giving up with trying to call and actually get called back and come in to the store with extra frustration to scream your way (understandably screaming, after spending tons of money, having a problem with the product and no one returning calls after days,,,I'd probably be screaming too.) It's embarrassing to be associated with...after only a few days of being there, no training, all I could do was tell these costumers is that I promise someone will definitely call them back...and no one would! Seriously...embarrassing. The only people that are happy are the first time customers who have no idea what they just stepped into and no idea that after they drop a ton of money on furniture they might not get in 10 -12 weeks of waiting...no idea that no one will care if its wrong or damaged, or if they never get a call about why the delivery guy doesn't show up after getting rid of their old furniture and blocked a weekend day off for scheduled time that just doesn't come...no one in the store will talk to them...they only learn after 4 days of calling and calling that the furniture somehow ended up back in OH and they have to wait another 2 weeks at least for re-delivery...and they get to hear the news with an attitude from a salesperson who says it's only a 10k sale...and meanwhile that salesperson would have to spend about a quarter of their yearly salary to afford that sofa...nice attitude ..but to their defense, they most likely have just gotten off the phone with some other poor soul with a similar problem and that sales person is worn out. One can only be screamed at by unhappy customers so much until they evidently let the answering machine pick up only to fill with those types of hideous costumer complaints. Worst costumer service, on boarding process, training and employee retainment I have ever experienced...
