Pros

Pay, PTO, availability to WFH for most roles and employees after a clear and proven track record in your role

Cons

Despite their efforts- communication from the very top down is still inconsistent and stilted. What is shared with all monthly is like white wash in comparison to the daily talk of changes and unanswered questions.

Optometrists should avoid

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

1. Good pay 2. Hands off management 3. Get to provide care for patients who otherwise would not have access to care

Cons

1. Poor communication and contradictory answers from management and HR 2. Poor decision-making from senior management 3. Seem to care more about protecting the company and its profits than they do about their employees 4. Providers are "pay-per-production" meaning they get paid based on how many patients they see, and are considered different than salaried employees. Even though I was a full-time employee, I received much fewer days off and holidays than those workers in the office. This was not told to me before I started, and I was actually erroneously sent the salaried employee benefits before I signed my contract. I overlooked a lot of red flags because of the high salary and good hours, and it came back to bite me. I would highly discourage optometrists from considering Aria Care Partners.
