Pros

This place is in the boonies far from sane people. Prototype shop skilled workers were the most normal smart and hard working. They kept giving the get out while yo can speech. Management was rude and obtuse.

Cons

Two faced sickly sweet old guard life time employees will stab you in the back if they feel yo are a threat to their position. Guy doing wiring harnesses did not even know how to do a continuity check on a wire. Just very stupid people pretending to know what they are doing.

Simple work, easy to learn multiple jobs

Cons

As with any manufacturing plant, office people matter and all of the hourlies are second class citizens. On hot days they take temprature readings near the nice air conditioned offices so you wont get breaks for being in a 120 degree plant. They pay horrible, less horrible now but still horrible. Busy season is six day weeks, with 9 hour days, then the lay offs start (like clockwork every year). Vacation is bad, attendance standards are okay, favoritism is a part of daily life here. Impossible to advance as an hourly. Coworkers have an 'I'll see if i feel like working tomorrow' attitude. Their culture is only used when they're trying to scold you for something, your bosses will blow up frequently.
