Pros

Good people, fun events outside of work. Friendly co-workers who mean well. Benefits costs are nice. Entire facility is climate controlled for the most part.

Cons

Some really good people left this organization in the past 90 days. Turnover has spiked again with no end in sight. I hear my coworkers talk about leaving more than ever. I worry about my job every day now that the one HR we actually liked is gone. Future orders looks weak and customers are not happy. Chaos has increased.

Transformation not done, but getting closer

Pros

Benefits are affordable. You can earn rebates for participating in wellness activities. It's really easy to get these rebates with not much effort. My favorite is a Personal Trainer comes 3 times a week for free. Vacation has been improved in the past year and finally there is a strong focus on Accountability. Many peers don't get the concept, they are constantly waiting to see what the company was doing next to get them to be accountable. They are being lazy. I read a review about high turnover, yes, it did exist with peers who weren't willing to change or improve as the company reinvented themselves. There will be more turnover as the pressure is turned on for accountability. Aries will be better as a whole.

Cons

Many employees overstate when they can complete certain tasks. They constantly think that management is pressuring them to do it faster. It was that way years ago, but not anymore. The company has flushed a lot of the poor performers and bad attitudes over the past 2 years. It takes a little longer to do things because of it.

Pros

I foresee this company growing nicely in the future. The people that i've had the pleasure to work with work very hard and care a great deal about customers internally and externally. Here is a true opportunity for a new engineer to do some real design work and grow skills. Right out of college this place gave me my foot in the door. The projects are interesting, ambitious and fast paced.

Cons

While it is true that Aries is growing and changing for the better, they still have a hard time retaining employees. Project planning is also NOT among Aries' advantages. Sales has in the past sold new products that haven't finished the design process creating an enourmous amount of pressure on engineering to push a given project through the system. This encourages short cuts, scope creep, design flaws, unhappy customers, and unhappy employees.
