Good place to work with a bright future

Pros

1. At market compensation with good base + semi annual bonuses for all employees. 2. Decent benefits although the medical deductibles for HDP was increased recently quite a bit. 3. If you like fast paced work this is the place to be. As an engineer you will be tasked with challenging work and kept busy. 4. Very flexible environment with remote work implemented 5. Not too many pointless meetings that waste your time. 6. Financially well managed company with not a lot of waste of resources. 7. Communication with upper management is quite open and without any fear. 8. Have not come across anyone on an ego trip here so far. 9. Stock grants are generous IF you are a high performing employee. 10. One of the few companies that still have PTO accrual which is important to many people. 11. In general everyone is quite competent and helpful. 12. Have not seen any mass layoffs. Small ones do happen but that is true of every place. Started to hit profitability in some quarters now which is very promising. The services model seems to be paying dividends.

Cons

1. 401K match needs serious improvement and is well below market. It was reduced when we spun off and should be increased if we are profitable. 2. Stock price has been low for 4 years but hopefully is on its way up now ($$$). 3. Two C level people left last year which is worrying at times. 4. Product innovation needs to be focused on. There are features on the products that make no sense at all. 5.
