Thanks for leaving a review! It's a bit of a cycle that we're caught in right now. As the ARM product portfolio grows and we get more industry recognition, our partners are looking for us to develop products faster. This means we need to hire additional people to offset the growing work load, but like you said, it can seem like we're growing too fast, especially since the IT infrastructure hasn't caught up to where our employee workforce level is at yet. BUT! We've been actively working on that by increasing IT hiring to help support the engineers that are driving the technology of tomorrow. For salary, the Rewards team is actively benchmarking across the tech industry, and will make adjustments as needed. We recently launched the new AFDS so there are more frequent conversations regarding employee development, and not just a review once at the end of the year. As far as attrition is concerned, we still have one of the lowest turnover numbers in the tech, or any industry for that matter, which we are extremely proud of. If you do have any additional feedback, please do feel free to reach out to me! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Smart and easygoing co-workers, good vacations and benefits

Pros

ARM's a good company to work for. Since the company's British, we've got more of a laid-back culture than somewhere like Apple. And we get good holidays and benefits because of the British culture. Mobile stuff is on the way up, and ARM's at the front of that. It's nice to be in a market segment that's trending up instead of down.

Cons

They're a little conservative with money. We don't have fancy headquarters or fabulous perks in the office. Salaries are supposedly lower than at similar American companies. We're not as deep into implementation technology as companies like Intel and Apple, since we mostly license the ARM instruction set.

Thanks for leaving a review! I completely agree that there are some great perks for working for a British company in the US, foremost being the generous vacation and holiday allotment we get. We've had to be a bit conservative as we're growing quickly these days (as you're well aware, having been with ARM for over 10 years!). Hopefully, the new building will address a lot of the issues that you mention, like a nicer building and perks. Salaries are still fairly competitive, but we factor in total compensation including bonuses and RSUs. -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Great people

Pros

Great people to work with, relaxed atmosphere, great summer and Christmas parties, if you are on the main site there is a gym and canteen. Open to flexible working and part time arrangements.

Cons

Too many meetings, benefit package is poor, the 2015 bonus was dire and there appears to be a huge discrepancy between US and UK salaries. If you are off the main site there is no canteen or gym unless you travel to the main site. The technology you are given to work with is not good.
