      Pros

      AFI is a great place to work. We have great benefits, salaries, family-oriented, work-life balance, show genuine care to employees especially during a pandemic and supports the community in every way possible.

      Pros

      Armed Forces Insurance (AFI) is a great place to work. There is a lot of job opportunity with some movement within the company depending on the position. Some positions have career path promotions. Many positions have the ability to telecommute /telework. AFI has been around for 133 years. AFI prides itself on providing great customer service to our members (active and retired military personal). Employees are very proud to be part of supporting those who support and protect our country. AFI has a good benefits package and compensation is comparable to the Kansas City market. AFI, also, has a good retirement plan.

      Our dress code is too casual.

      Great benefits, supportive leadership team, helpful and collaborative teammates relaxed work environment.

      Cons

      Pay could be higher but its in the mid west so cost of living is lower.
