Slum Lords who treat their employees in the same manner if not worse

Pros

If you have never been in the residential property management business and want to get your feet wet, this is the company that may hire you. If you are looking for a free apartment as a manager, this is the company for you.

Cons

Fear of getting moved around the various 19 properties at any given time for any reason (sometimes political, just to be mean, performance). Management belittles and humiliates staff. Very low wages (enough that you would be at the poverty line), but the management says it's because they give you a free apartment.

Pros

you'll meet some great people excluding those at headquarters

Cons

wages are not livable, there's a Asian baby factory at one of their Rowland Heights apartments, the housing subsidy is a joke, racist rhetoric from upper management, medical coverage is below average, charging accelerated rent for basic necessities

Pros

- Get promoted quickly if you can rent apartments - Free apartment as a manager - Arnel hires great people. All of my coworkers have been amazing.

Cons

- You work weekends, there's only two holidays (Christmas and Thanksgiving) and only 5 paid vacations days. If you don't have enough vacation time, they will just deny your request - They promote based on whoever is sucking up the most to whomever at the corporate office - They do not value you as an employee. EVERYONE is replaceable. - All long term employees get fired. The past several VPs and Regional Supervisors have been fired. - They try to use scare tactics to get people to perform better
