Pros

There was free breakfast and lunch on Monday/ Friday, but they took that away.

Cons

Work yourself to mental health hell culture. Go go go harder, faster. zero work life balance. This outdated culture is why so many people come in and out like a perpetually spinning wheel. What they don’t tell you in the recruiting process and training process is this is a 7-5 job. That is the minimum they can get away with on paper by law, but this is actually a 6am-11pm job, 7 days a week, for less pay than you can make almost anywhere else working far less, and you’re not allowed to use pto, or you’ll have to have a meeting as to why you’re taking a day off. Micromanaging, obsessing over metrics that ultimately don’t lead to sales. I’ve never worked harder and more for less money in my 15 years of work experience. I thought this was a good opportunity, but it’s really just a dead end where they seemingly structure the business to turn and burn workers like they’re tools at their disposal. This company is run on greed from the top, which in my opinion, will hinder the organic growth they’ve experienced in the past.

Pros

Catered lunches and fun in-classroom trainers.

Cons

I've been in sales roles before but this is extremely numbers driven. You are pushed to make 100 calls a day and told "call a carrier in the morning, at lunch and in the evening even if they don't want to work with arrive, keep pushing." Commission is continuously changing and each time you earn less and less. If you are wanting to go to a job where you will be recognized for the work you put in and have a great manager - this is not the place for you. A lot of people talk about the culture being great but it's really not, unless you love frat-culture. Managers drop F bombs all the time and yell at employees, even for problems that are out of the employee's control. Even department directors drop F bombs like crazy. After a certain point you are commission only, which in this market, basically means you will be putting in lots of work for little money. When you are in training you are told "there's lots of money to be made here, etc etc" when in reality this is true for the reps that have been at Arrive for years. If you are looking for work-life balance and respectful managers that treat you like a human and not a robot THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. There is a reason the retention rate is so low.

Pros

Nothing that any other company in Austin isn’t providing

Cons

Paying ‘taxes’ to the company for basic tracking/coordinating, pay structure changes (never in favor for the employee), favoritism for promotions
