Great Company - Benefits and Training are Archaic
Pros
I truly love my job. I like my management, not micro-managers and always available to help. It's a great place to start a career if you're a self-starter. You are WFH except for when you schedule meetings with suppliers, customers, and with management. Very flexible schedule. Commission is great if you're going into a market with substantial accounts and prior business.
Cons
Training is not effective or tailored to your position (ADR/FSR/ISR). There is online training for oracle and sales, but everyone within the company knows that it's not viable. You aren't selling an engineer a component; you're selling Arrow and yourself - very different sales. You learn while you're on the job. Benefits are good, but not good enough to make a lifelong career here. Not enough paid holidays (MLK, Juneteenth, Indigenous Peoples not included for a company now focused on diversity). No WFH stipend. No Tuition Reimbursement/Assistance. No Wellness Budget. The car stipend is not very competitive (suppliers pay double/month).
