      Sales Rep for Distributorship in partnership with Arthrex

      Pros

      This is a review for a sales rep position working for one of the distributorships in partnership with Arthrex. I was not employed by Arthrex directly. However, whenever I spoke/worked with Arthrex employees they were very nice and helpful. They definitely do whatever it takes for their customers to be happy. Their facilities in Naples are state of the art. It's a job in medical device sales, and gets your foot in the door.

      Cons

      I had a very bad experience with my distributor. No training besides online modules, and then a week long in person training in Naples. Terrible organization skills by many. Favoritism at its worst. Honestly the pay is not good for all the running around you do. No company car, not paid mileage.....I was investing more into the company than they were investing in me. I was very happy to move on to bigger and better things.

      Pros

      Arthrex has great products and is well recognized as the leader in sports medicine. The distributor in Chicago has really provided great tolls IE. office with wet lab and mobile lab to help sales representatives attract new surgeons

      Cons

      Minimal training with terrible pay. Being 1099 is frustrating as an associate rep because not only are you getting compensated between 40-50K yo are expected to cover all of your own expenses.
