Pros

High growth company A lot of project opportunity (If there is enough interest) Pay is considerable versus the standard of the market (Also no state income tax for Florida employees) Great benefits, free healthcare, and some dental coverage with no out of pocket premiums from paycheck Free food provided in the cafeteria everyday

Cons

Lack of organization (High Utilization of tribal knowledge: business and information is conducted through e-mails and spreadsheets and not the ERP) There is an extensive amount of manual work that is done here; Most jobs could have a lot of capital freed up if their was automation of the mindless non-value-add tasks that must be performed to get the basics of the job done. Location is located right near the Gulf of Mexico and is a very pretty place, however there is a lack of a younger crowd and cost of living can be a bit expensive. No real use of standard supply chain concepts such as : S&OP, 6SIGMA, KAIZEN, CPFR, ISCM AND CRM INTEGRATION, ETC.

Pros

Maybe the small free onsite medical clinic? Benefits are avg so this sure helps.

Cons

Stagnant career growth, unless you can suck up to the right people. Area is expensive and the pay doesn't always match, except that Florida doesn't have state taxes. Politically charged environment. Sr Mgmt/executives seems like they just walked into this super busy environment and mostly have either given up or are playing along. No employee mentoring. No processes set up and everyone is left to figure it out on their own. Hiring process can take months for a normal position. Some other reviewer said people are in line to apply at Arthrex-- that is because there is basically the ''big company'' of the area. So no, that doesn't speak about the company, rather it shows how crappy Naples economy is.

Pros

Arthrex is a very employee friendly place to work. They offer so many benefits that other companies in the area don't. They provide lunch every day and it is very good. They provide opportunities for advancement and learning new things. Their vacation and PTO policy is better than average. I worked in IT so I was able to work on some very cutting edge technology. The work environment is one where individuals are empowered in my experience.

Cons

There are not too many cons to working at Arthrex. At times the job can have pressure added because the expectations are fairly high depending on which department you work in. This goes with any good job because it shows the importance of what you do and that people are relying on you.
