Pros

Great training but is intense. However, if you put in the effort you will learn a lot! The best company at educating their sales reps.

Cons

Micromanaging by category managers, little or no commission. Instead there is bonuses given for achieving sales goals that don’t change despite how much more you may achieve over the required sales numbers for the bonus. Distributor doesn’t share fairly the bonuses given to the distributor that Arthrex gave them for how well their reps did. Other distributors in other states don’t do this. This distributor is the only one that does this. All this causes a high turnover. Many reps are very young due to that.

- You get the best training for any medical device company - A large team to help get your feet under you as you get started - There is a really good culture within Arthrex

Cons

- The pay is less than most other medical device companies - There is an on-call portion of the job - The amount of knowledge you must have and the time you put in is more than what you get paid for - Can be overworked depending on your team and management
