Pros

Employee owned, good compensation and benefits, flexible work/life, funding for R&D concepts, nice offices, well respected in the architecture and engineering world

Cons

Work days are chained to the timesheet, can become slightly repetitive work, a bit bureaucratic at times with documentation and marketing, up and down business with some slow times

Pros

There are so many. The opportunity to have variety in your role. To work with people locally and globally all at the same time. To be in a position to see the results of your work. To discover people in the organisation doing world changing things.

Cons

You get out what you put in. Like all organisations Arup has its issues - mainly around courage to give direct feedback (both to staff and clients at times). Can be risk averse, depending on who the Country Leader happens to be.
