Pros

-Superb benefits package. -A real sense of community despite most positions being remote. -You feel like you are part of the team even before day 1 . -Management are humanistic and value their employees-- they understand that in order to have a successful business, you need to take care of and value your employees. -Smooth onboarding process and loads of support and training when you first start.

Cons

I can't think of any right now.

Pros

At Ascend they are always ensuring you feel communicated with, recognized, and appreciated for what you contribute to the team. You can feel comfortable emailing anyone for assistance and they will do their best to help or help you find the right contact. Being remote I had concerns about belonging but with Ascend they do so many different employee outreaches and training that you really feel like you are "with" everyone you work with. Honestly, the nicest place to work, and at the end of the day kindness goes a long way!

Cons

No real cons, the hierarchy is blurred so it can be tricky knowing who to reach out to for what but again everyone is so nice in helping you directly or getting you to the right person.

Pros

Feel valued and heard. I have developed true friendships with co-workers over the last decade.

Cons

There is some disconnect between the products we develop and the value they offer the customer. We truly change lives, but the organization sometimes focuses more on profit.
