Pros

Ascend Learning offers a very flexible work environment that allows people to get things done from anywhere; the key is to be highly productive with high quality. This benefit is perfect for those with full schedules and families. The company offers great compensation and benefits. Every unit in the company is organized around a specific higher order purpose, which includes a passion for doing meaningful work to help students, educators, and employers actualize a better world.

Cons

The company thrives on those who can run fast, adapt to change, evolve, and are truly entrepreneurial. Most organizations expect employees to reside in the square and move up a short step ladder. Ascend Learning grants responsibility, latitude, and autonomy. This requires that we attract people with certain epic traits that are rare including self-starter, self-motivated, and accountable.

Pros

This company pays well in salary and compensation. The benefits are great. There is alot of support from the management. I work remotely so that is a bonus to live in my territory.

Cons

As with all companies there is always change. They reorganize to make the process work more efficiently. I dont consider this a con necessarily but that is what happens.

Pros

Office is great and the location is fantastic, people are helpful and friendly, there is a new CEO and he seems to be a forward thinker and will expand the business, is communicating information better than it was in the past, competitive salary, benefits are great, just added tuition reimbursement, overall, I think it's a great place to work with options to advance your career

Cons

The communication could be better, is improving with Greg, the new CEO
