My Ascendion Experience

Pros

One of the best aspects is our leaderships ability to provide career growth/advancement through various avenues. This is not a company where you stand alone, it is very collaborative by nature. Do not get me wrong, it is definitely a grind, but they put everyone in a place to succeed. The supportive culture at Ascendion fosters collaboration and makes coming to work enjoyable day after day. The office is located in the heart of the Chicago loop, making it an easy commute to and from work! I have been here since the birth of Ascendion, and it is an exciting company to work for.

Cons

There are problems with every company that is getting its boots off the ground. Granted we have more than 20 years of industry knowledge in the services/solution space. But as we continue to grow there are internal changes that can be challenging. These come from turns in the market, that may alter our point of focus. Developing new markets and centers of excellence are becoming a lot easier as we continue on our journey, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Cons

Toxic if you don't fully drink the koolaid. They will stiff you on raises. I haven't had car insurance in 5 months.
