Pros

If you are a male threatened by females or people of color in the workplace, this male dominated team, lacking any diversity, may be right for you.

Cons

Human Resources is very weak. HR policies were written by Compliance and are very old school, rule heavy, and sound punitive. The company says employees are valued but actions and behaviors are inconsistent with this. There is no accountability for timely communications. Emails with suggestions go unread, unanswered, or answered months later. The travel expense policy is ridiculously controlling and written by someone who does little travel. Laptops issued are poor quality. There are ethical concerns with at least one top leader in the company (Jerry Bramlet). One has to wonder if it spreads beyond him. I would certainly stay far away from his entities. He’s also perceived as very retaliatory. Bureaucracy is high and incompetence is abundant throughout the PA headquarters where a lot of control comes from. No diversity in top or middle leadership and no established plan of attracting people of color. Likewise, top leaders are old and very out of touch with the millennial workforce. When they do promote a millennial, they grab the best “yes man” they can find...and it will be a man. The company has acquired dozens of smaller firms over the past several years. Manipulating numbers to look profitable is the utmost priority. I’m guessing they will go public soon. It better be fast as I’ve already seen a few of the profitable firms they bought start falling apart (senior revenue makers leave, clients who no longer have their contact then seek services elsewhere, as there was no forethought to retention agreements when buying service oriented companies).

The people are top-notch here and I am so blessed to work with so many amazing people

Cons

The internal bickering among some of the departments is maddening.
