The Employee discount is nice.

Cons

There is no work life balance. Managers are working mandatory minimum 55 hour work week and compensation does not reflect the effort. Manager comp was already on the low end of the spectrum. Constantly micromanaged to sell. Between teams chat and text, easily getting between 40-100 messages a day. If a customer cancels an order Regionals freak out like it's not a standard part of business. Retail technology is way behind the curve and policies make running our stores WAY harder than it really has to be.

Comfy furniture but challenging sales expectations

You get to sit on comfy furniture and sometimes they buy you food

Cons

There is a lot of people that come in there that are not interested in buying furniture but just looking around so they are not interested in having someone follow them around. They do want you to follow people around and keep checking back to try to sell them some of the furniture. You don’t get very much commissions off of the furniture sell you get more money from the bonuses. If you sign people up for the Ashley credit. They want you to be there for every single holiday except Christmas day and Thanksgiving. Every other holiday is a day that you may not ask off because it is a sales day.
