Pros

As I approach my 2 month anniversary here at Aspen Systems, Inc., I reflect how amazing this Company really is and how lucky I am to have become a part of this team. First and foremost, the Company is run by a team of executives that truly “care” about the welfare of their employees. It’s been a long time since I’ve been with a Company that places such a high value on “quality of life”. Some Companies talk about this but here at Aspen you can see and feel it every day. Everyone helping everyone, smiling happy people, it’s simply an amazing work environment.

Cons

I have not encountered any significant issues.

Pros

Aspen-Systems has been my favorite employer, hands down. The people are great, the compensation is fair and the management is good to their staff and appreciative of good, quality work. I've always felt respected as an individual and have never felt like just another lowly minion.

Cons

No place is perfect, of course, but this comes pretty close.

Strange culture, takes a lot of effort if you want to assimilate

Pros

100% company-paid health & dental insurance (where do you find that today?), comfortable working environment, good location, stable company with long history, flexible work schedule

Cons

Working remotely (ie. telecommuting) is forbidden although technology allows for it, dinosaur mentality in a technology environment, strange group of personalities many of whom have never had any other outside work experience, cliquish, immature, no outside socializing.
