Pros

Good people, good HQ community. Recognized for its small business banking services. Focused on the midwest. Excellent asset quality and loss reserves. Strong capital ratings. Very healthy earnings and net interest margin. All indicate a well managed financial institution.

Cons

Cold climate and economic growth constraints in the midwest.

Pros

Some managers are flexible with hours/appointments. Offers paid time off and sick time plus holiday pay for some holidays.

Cons

Little opportunity for advancement since new management has come on board. Any new/open positions go to someone from either Union Bank or M&I Bank and are hardly ever offered in Stevens Point anymore which just makes everyone believe they are trying to phase out the Stevens Point Service Center. Too much outsourcing to India. Not only are they letting people go and giving their job to someone in India but for those of us still here it's a nightmare working with them as communicating with them is difficult and they don't know what they are doing.
