Pros

Great position to work hard and see your direct results. If you have the grit and determination, and do the right things, you WILL get promoted and make a lot of commission while doing so. The mentorship and development aspect of the job is something you will never appreciate until you have worked elsewhere. It is unique to Aston Carter/Aerotek and part of the culture. It is huge for finding fulfillment in you work.

Cons

You will not make a lot of money if you are not doing well, and doing well takes a lot of hard work and motivation. Need to have a good head on your shoulders, because things happen that are out of your control.

Pros

Upwards mobility. They offer a lot but what they don't tell you is that a very small minority of people actually achieve the success they map out for you. You have to get lucky with reqs otherwise you're never going to see spread gains. Agency recruiting is mostly luck.

Cons

Hyper micro-management, brainwashed culture, no time for yourself because you'll be working 60 plus hours a week.

Pros

There were no pros. The compensation in terms of hours actually put in is just utterly depressing, and benefits are subpar. There will likely be irreparable damage to your mental health. Just don’t do it.

Cons

Senior leadership breeds a frat environment in offices and punishes those who speak against it. Unless your boss wants to drink with you on the weekends, you will not survive here. When I was asked my opinion on bringing someone on to the team, my senior leader asked ,”is this someone you would want to go to happy hour with?” I’ve witnessed racism, harassment, sexual harassment, and many illegal recruiting practices during my employment here. HR will only try to cover things up and gaslight you. No one can be trusted and everything needs to be documented. Run.
