Pros

25% employee discount, not much else

Cons

-4 person staff on 140k sqft store. -Less than 500 budgeted payroll hours per week. -only favorites are promoted, usually unqualified employees. -4-5 trucks per week with unrealistic goals given the staffing crisis this store is always in. -P&L nightmare. Very little surveillance and it's used to watch employees, not customers- IF it's working. -Store policies don't allow for employees to do the right thing for the consumer -most bulk items ship covered in mold/mildew and some with wood destroying insects but to keep defects down, we're told to sell anyway. -salaraied managers work 13+ hour days and due to payroll issues, are not given lunch breaks (forget about a short break also) -you ALWAYS feel expendable.

Pros

The only pros to this company is the employee discount which can be shared between employees and any family member and its a good percentage, not your usual 10%

Cons

Poor senior and corporate management, lack of planning and structure, no regard for employees as people, creating unreasonable expectations and goals for a big box retailer with the payroll of a mom and pop shop. No paid bereavement time.
