The residents and wonderful staff

Cons

I am unable to get necessary medical care due to Athena owing millions of dollars of unpaid insurance claims. Have been turned away from providers that will not take me or my family because they are owed money by Athena, unless I pay them out of pocket. I pay a premium every week and cannot use my insurance.

Reasonable productivity, collaborative team, paid lunch, holiday pay

Cons

Poor benefits, offer health insurance but won’t pay claims for >1year until you are in collections with providers and aren’t able to return to your doctor’s office. Push for concurrent treatment so you end up seeing 12-14patients per day, no overtime
