      Pros

      Working with like-minded women and in a fitness oriented environment. Friendly workers and always busy. Fun environment! Great part-time gig.

      Cons

      Pay is ridiculously low. No room for growth. Management is unorganized and lack of training for new employees. I was expected to suddenly know all the different fabrics and styles with no training, just watching a 20 minute video.

      Started when I was a senior in college, love the group of people working with. Awesome company to work for, fun and engaging environment.

      Unusual work hours, be ready for schedule changes.

      Pros

      I really enjoyed my time at Athleta, primarily because of the people that I worked with. They were encouraging, funny, and great people. I worked here while being a student, and the managers did a great job of understanding that I was a student first and they worked with my schedule each quarter. I felt appreciated, and I made so many great friends while working at Athleta!

      Cons

      I would say the only con is that this is a job in the service industry, and you don't always get the most pleasant customers. There also was not a lot of career opportunities for me to advance while I worked there, especially as a part time, which was disappointing. I also wish that there was a better system in place for getting raises, but that is dictated by Gap Inc., the parent company.
