gap is one of those soon-to-be failure companies for being stuck in its old ways, even with the changes made. the employee scheduling system can only be viewed online and in the store, which results in everyone calling hours beforehand to see if they work. many companies have easily accessible online scheduling to deter this.
They are coming out with their own credit card- more pressure for employees
No one comes to our store events because employees are poorly trained and are trained to be people who are not comfortable with talking to customers outside of a "selling" mindset.
The managers are all outsourced from banana republic, old navy, and whatever companies gap owns. They are not the best of the best. It seems their is no pressure on them to actually be positive leaders. So many are disrespectful and incapable of training employees, it has motivated me to seek other employment, as these are not the type of people i would like to grow with.
they don't hire any boys. atleast in our store.
i would say maybe this place is alright as a first job but they only hire more seasoned employees.
