Pros
My fellow sales associates are awesome - I feel like we really do support each other and work well together. The discount is great, and much of the product is good. Many of the customers are really very nice, and enjoyable to work with.
Cons
Expectations are set too high for part-time employees making $10 an hour and no commission or benefits. Not only do we have to be extremely knowledgeable about the products and engage extensively with our customers - far more so than at most shops - we also have to push credit cards, surveys, Clientele program, and community events, as well as focus on metrics. Hours are inconsistent, and there is little room for advancement.
