Pros

Fair benefits package and good amount of PTO hours advertised. Lots of clinics allow for opportunity to relocate within the Midwest.

Cons

Lower salaries and poor yearly increases. Expected to see a high volume of patients. Overbooking is encouraged and rehab aide/techs are over utilized resulting in poor quality of care. Corporate management does not listen to feedback from employees.

Pros

-Interacting with patients -If you are pre-PT, this is a good place to get some experience

Cons

-Management is inadequate -Aides are relied on too heavily -The pay sucks ...don't look for a raise -PT doesn't act like patient care is the top priority since they don't spend much time with their own patients -Aides will literally be running around like a chicken with their head cut off so that they can get everything done, meanwhile the PT is sitting there doing nothing -The therapists they hire -Athletico says it's all about "teamwork" but I haven't seen much of that -Aides are expected to do too much with too little pay

Pros

If you like the team of therapists and other employees at your clinic, it can be a very fun place to work each day.

Cons

There was a lot of pressure from the higher-ups to increase patient visits each week. This could mean calling patients often, even when it was obvious that they had no intention of returning. I also felt that this had the potential to lead to pressuring patients to come in as often as possible, even if they had a high co-pay or deductible.
