Pros

Depending on clinic mentorship is available, and management is usually accessible when needed.

Cons

Poor clinician retention due to poor treatment of staff (both clinical and front desk), ridiculous billing/coding expectations, constant changing of systems (EMR, HEP, billing, etc.) and constant changing of staff expectations. They are so desperate for clinicians that they are driving away GOOD clinicians by retaining ones who are lucky to still be practicing or should not be practicing.

Pros

The community is great, I love working with the people I work with.

Cons

The pay is not ideal, it is very expensive to live in Chicago and I can’t sustain myself at this pay rate
