Pros
37.5 hours a week; some areas get every other Friday off; hybrid schedule (currently); easy to get along with most people regardless of level; everyone is first name basis, so very laid back in that sense; job security; good work/life balance; good compensation, some people complain but it's not easy finding our pay in other local government agencies; new CEO was intimidating at first (but change is, so...); she isn't as bad as other comments say.
Cons
Not a lot of growth opportunities; depending on your position you may have to create your own lane or just be stuck doing the usual; no two people do the same thing so it's hard to transition to other positions; LOVES meetings, there's always a meeting for something; miss previous CEO, he was great. He made it a point to learn everyone's first name.
