Pros

Atlantic BT has a very employee-centric philosophy, which results in a casual, extremely supportive, fun atmosphere. Monthly culture club events like movie night, company bowling, table tennis tournaments, chili-cookoff, assassins, along with our daily Super Smash Bros competitions ensures that there is always a means to relieve some stress and build relationships with your coworkers. Work-life balance at AtlanticBT is a huge priority, and it is reflected in every aspect of management.

Cons

The health care benefits are mediocre at best, and the 401k matching is not as good as it could be.

Pros

This is a company which as many others have said strayed a bit from its roots in being an employee first organization. It's pretty clear that significant changes have been made to get back to those roots to the benefit of current employees. The work is challenging and fast paced and as with any client oriented business communication is key.

Cons

The company still seems to be sorting out its structure a bit, so immediate advancement opportunities may not be as clear as in other more rigid and established large companies.

Pros

Fantastic company to work for. I've been with ABT for almost 8 years and I have experienced the ups and downs of a company that has grown from a few people all the way up to 60+ employees. Professionally: ABT is a fast-paced environment that provides constant opportunities to learn different platforms, languages, and technologies, as well as advance your skill set. The bar is set high, but that's a great thing. I haven't worked along someone that didn't want to go the extra mile to make something better. Culture: This is the backbone of the company. I've never had a job that felt more like a family. Jon Jordan (CEO) puts a tremendous effort into investing in the employees and is genuinely concerned about their well-being. ABT understands the work-hard/play-hard mentality. Some benefits include: Friday lunches, game room, generous PTO, bikes, work from home, Summer hours, company events. Management: Due to a recent shift in leadership, our management team has never been stronger. They are engaged in the future growth of the company, but don't do so behind closed doors anymore. Our voices are heard and the decisions reflect that.

Cons

ABT hit a rough patch over the last 2 or so years causing a spike in turnover. The focus had shifted away from the culture and well-being of its employees to corporate-like mandates. A recent change in leadership, though, has brought ABT back to its roots and is no longer an issue. Time tracking will always be a negative part of agency life, but the new shift in leadership has also redirected our focus to quality. Time tracking is no longer such a sore point.
