Pros

1. Salary is pretty good, comparable to most big tech (but there is a reason for that, see Cons #1). 2. Project can be interesting based on what team you land up in. 3. 100% Remote (for now).

Cons

1. Hunger games with PIP factory every 6 months APEX reviews. 2. Engineering culture is a mess with moral is super low. 3. Developers don't want to help peers as it's in free for all. 4. Super long hours with cross-geo collab with India and Australia. 5. P60 is the worst level, as you are expected to pull out a rabbit out of your...you know, every quarter

Pros

It used to be the best place to work. Atlassian values were truly lived. People were treated with respect and care.

Cons

The company went downhill from being best to worst in <2 years. Leadership has no vision. Favoritism plays a big part in your overall rating. Incompetent managers game the system. APEX is terrible. There is no WLB and you are constantly living under stress even if you get a good rating. It is a sinking ship.
