Pros

- Great compensation (although stock price is sinking) - Full remote job

Cons

- Toxic performance reviews: engineers are competing with each other - No common IT / dev support, you're on your own - LOTS of red tape to access data (3 weeks delay on any projects) - AI Managers don't trust engineers and micro-manage every projects - lots of friction in inter-team collaboration caused by perf reviews.

Pros

fully remote and unlikely to rto

Cons

from the mouths of leadership: wlb no longer exists at atlassian. working hours are not respected, and it's not uncommon to have people working on weekends. PR counts are closely watched, and will impact performance reviews. Lots of surprise firings. Overall morale on most teams is very poor
