Pros

Good mix of cash and equity on comp side; fully remote with offices in major metros for collaboration; benefits are strong

Cons

Culture is degrading, as many on Blind have noted, due to influx of FAANG leaders

Pros

Good pay, work-life balance and decent benefits

Cons

New performance assessment system is complete trash. Your main focus for each quarter is how you can make your performance review look good. They put a very large emphasis on metrics like PR count and encourage you to be in the 75th percentile. Only issue is this data is public, and the number is always shifting so you will always have to do more in other to be above others trying to do the exact same thing. You get chopped if you don't. I've seen this turn people against each other to boost their own numbers.
