      Pros

      Atmos Energy has a culture where everyone is pulling in the same direction. There is a genuine love for the work and love and respect for each other. We call it AtmoSpirit and it is expected of all employees

      Cons

      Starting salaries tend to be on the low side. New hires often are little bewildered by the complexities of a gas utility.

      Pros

      There are a lot of opportunities for overtime. There is an exercise room for employees to use during lunch breaks.

      Cons

      The numerous customers who were upset over their gas being turned off. I have seen people turned off for owing $1. I understood that the company needed to make a profit, but sometimes the policies were very heartless. You can have a heart and still make a healthy profit.
