Pros

Can't really think of any..

Cons

Poor processes, poor corporate training, outdated modes of delivery . Employees are being asked to spend too much time on non-essential items such as updating internal directories. Internal apps are slow and antiquated. Time management system is unequipped to handle dynamic workforce. Horrible experience as an employee.

Pros

Work from home option. No other pros to talk about.

Cons

Training opportunities and work-life balance. Treated like a number instead of an employee at times. Preach innovation, but don't provide the environment to implement anything innovative. Remote work is taken advantage of, resulting in working around the clock. NEVER any merit raises of any kind. It's a consultant company. All independent individuals. No team mentality. Executive management transitioned from Xerox Business ITO Outsourcing division to Atos last year are extremely incompetent. They got those positions by good ole boy promotions by past executives. They only look at the bottom line for that month only. Unable to see that support for paying clients is highly failing and they do not get it. Good people are let go for offshore cheaper costs. Good people remaining are pushed to the limit and abused.

Pros

Pay was ok. Many workers are remote, so no commute. Most coworkers were solid technically. My direct manager was a good guy, but overworked.

Cons

So many. I might miss some. This company is not quick on its feet. Raises were < 1% (and I was always at the top) when they ever happened. Many years they didn’t. Slowly replacing US engineers with offshore workers through low and slow layoffs. Atos does not value employees. Long hiring freezes and travel bans to shore up cash on hand. More work was simply piled on those who stayed. Does not provide comp time for off hours work. US upper management mostly useless. French CEO is completely out of touch with reality. Poor benefits got poorer every year: * Lowered severance weeks by year of service. * Pushing all 401K matches to end of year. * Lowered PTO for employees with longer service. * Insurance got worse and cost more every year.
